Tonight I played barefoot lawn bowls for the first time in a LONG time. I'd forgotten how much fun it was. Our church held a lawn bowls and dinner night at the local bowls club. A lot of people turned out too. It was really nice to just catch up with everyone, have a few games, be a little silly (though there was a serious lawn bowler or two) and just have good old fashioned fun. The first ball I bowled happened to end up in the next game, turns out I had it the wrong way round. Oops! But fortunately I got better from there. I am thankful I had a chance to play barefoot bowls tonight and catch up with great people.
